Clearpoint Looks ahead to a New Year

We might be a few days late, but we want to wish a Happy New Year to our clients and partners. We look forward to working with you for another year, and here’s to making 2014 a memorable one. Also, there are some exciting changes taking place within our organization that will allow us to reach more consumers and work to even higher standards. We want to highlight a few of these here, and we look forward to another great year for the consumers and communities we serve!

CredAbility is now Clearpoint

Clearpoint has added some new members to its team and the end result is that we will be better able to serve you. CredAbility was another NFCC-certified credit counseling agency operating in the Southeast and serving consumers nationwide. Clearpoint and CredAbility are now one company, which means we will have a larger footprint and the ability to serve more consumers. Our company will now be headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and the merger has made us the nation’s second largest NFCC agency.

Financial Advisory Services

We plan to introduce a new line of services later in 2014. Our Financial Advisory Services will give low- and middle-income consumers the opportunity to access new financial resources. These resources will help them work toward important financial milestones such as buying a home, developing a household budget, and understanding the importance of planning for retirement.

More Products for Businesses

As a result of our merger with CredAbility, we will now be able to offer more educational products for businesses. We can offer our services to an organization’s constituents, helping them get on the right financial track. We can do this for any of our services, and we also have military services and employee assistance programs that can be further customized. We also have a new resource called our Personalized Learning Program, which allows organizations to provide a self-guided financial education tool to members or employees.

We Look forward to another Year

We work every day toward the mission of consumer health through financial education. Really, this is what keeps us going, and we hope that by expanding our team and our role within the credit counseling industry, we are able to help more people. As we turn a new leaf into 2014 and consumers prepare to accomplish another year’s worth of resolutions, let’s reflect on one man’s story of determination and an improved financial situation. Stories like these are why we do what we do:
